The idea
The project was born from a great passion for our native land, Umbria, located in the green heart of Italy. Born in Perugia, Daniele has long fostered the dream of making the beauty of his land known all over the world.
With New York as his headquarters, he has brought in his childhood friends to help, and the adventure has begun!
But how to begin? By bringing along his 13 years of work experience in the restaurant world, his passion for good food and for its traditions.
Who are the key players? The small businesses and artisans who have for years represented the excellence of the “made in Umbria” brand throughout the world. Through their unique products, they are able to represent their oldest traditions, recounting their way of living and of thinking.

The Umbrian Heart team personally knows and selects each producer in our network and guarantees the highest quality and professional ethics.
How? We created a network of partners in Umbria that manages direct relationships with each producer, verifying the structure of each selected farm and the land that each product comes from. We also have a warehouse in Italy to handle all of the logistics.
Our greatest pride is to be able to make known – to a public as discriminating and attentive as the American market – the quality and the thousands of traditons of a region that is becoming increasingly advanced in terms of production techniques and quality.
